  Beach and headland break just south of Duranbah, with banks that pick up plenty of swell.

  Long sandy beach with gentle banks. A good spot to learn when it is small and clean.

• Cabarita (Norries Head) Beginner+

  Beach break beside Norries Headland, sheltered a little from southerlies at the northern end.

  Point and creek-mouth banks that can be fun on small to mid swells.

  Mellow beach near the creek mouth. Friendly for learners on small days.
